1632They're here again, although at the moment they're out shopping.
I picked them up from the airport at one, and they're already shopping.
I live here and I go to the shopping district maybe once a month. They go to the shopping district within an hour of their arrival.
I live in a small, provincial city.
They live in a capital city.
They are from hell.

Everytime someone would get on board, he would congratulate them with a boisterous, "You made it, man! You made it!"
He then began talking about how we weren't gonna make it unless we "got this bitch going 80 mph". Then he demanded to know who was going to be our Keanu. He pointed at each young white male and asked, "Are you going to be our Keanu?"
When I got off the bus, he said "You made it, Sandy!"
It was fun.
Brilliant story! I think that I'm going to watch Speed this afternoon.

Adam, I would like to see a sticky thread dedicated to your In-laws. If not a sticky then one that you resurrect from time to time to share your stories.

I hope you're using the power of irony here...

Day 3 of 3.
Day 1: They go to the shops.
Day 2: They go to the shops.
Day 3: They're going to the shops.
Yesterday I dared suggest that the children might like to go the the playground rather than the shops. This was greeted rather icily, and it was to the shops they went.
This morning my wife and I bumped into her on the way past the bathroom. She presented us with a card, and wished us a happy anniversary.
It's our wedding anniversary (second), and we'd both entirely forgotten. It was rather touching that we'd both entirely forgotten; seemed a reasonable indication that we're still trundling along at roughly the same speed, on roughly the same course...

Were you watching Black Galaxy, or did you have him round for tea? You get extra points for having Black Galaxy round yours performing for their tea.
