2Great, great band, as well as being one of the most fun and most consistently terrific live bands I've ever seen. Kurt Bloch would jump around the stage like a hyperglycemic child yet never flub a note. Amazing.
My only waffle is that every one of their records has a good share of filler, and one record (Very Very Powerful Motor) fails to hold my interest. But their number of amazing pop songs should impress anyone.
"Gone to the Moon," "Believe Me Never," "Wrong, Wrong, Wrong," "K Street," "Impatience," "My Letters" . . . I could go on and on.

Answer the Phone Dummy and the singles comp The Question Is No are both good starting points. It would not be inaccurate to compare these guys to the Buzzcocks.

8A band after my own heart, and one of my personal faves. They were also really nice people the time I got to meet them ... after the show I told Kurt Bloch, "Man, that was as good as the Buzzcocks!" and I thought he was going to weep with joy. Not crap! Not ever!

"Fastbacks....And His Orchestra" - that was the one what got me hooked back in the day.
Early EP/singles are also tacked on to the CD for a grand total of 20 tracks.
Is fun.
