Plus the White Stripes had an album called 'Elephant', non?

I'm assuming there isn't two covers, the one with the Greyhound and the fruit is a joke.
Wrong.
The reason the packaging took so long is the artwork is actually that animated gif.
I can't imagine that getting a piece of paper to change images can be that easy.
I still wish it came inside of a real dog.

It's actually pretty easy...

A lenticular print ("wiggle picture") would be easier than that, but would make the whole thing seem like a giant Cracker Jack prize -- not that I would see that as a negative thing.

It's not two covers.

It's a double-disc set. The End of Radio now takes up an entire disc as it is the "Thick as a Brick" mix which lasts for 34 minutes, then is followed by 36 minutes of Steve and Bob laughing and making ethnic jokes while listening to the radio during the 1997-1998 "Bangin' Cocks" Thailand Tour.

The second disc features the Raconteurs cover, Elephant (an ode to Gus Van Sant), Paco (where Steve finally states his oft-speculated position on building a border around Electrical Audio so no damned 'Xicans will steal his job...I know dude...I know), and Spoke, Todd's harrowing account of nearly dying after a fluke accident involving a unicycle, a drum stick, a virgin, boxed wine, and for some reason a lava lamp with the bottle cap plunked off.

File this one under Excellent Experimental Prop Comedy.
