I'm watching the TNT nightly marathon of X-Files, and it's one of my favorite episodes: Jose Chung's From Outer Space.
One cannot go wrong with Charles Nelson Reilly.

12This was a landmark show in the evolution of television. The cumulative narrative in combination with the conjectural episodes (i.e. not connected to the rest of the plot...i.e. "monster of the week"). So many great episodes. My younger brother and I got really into it when we were kids. Fond memories. NC.

13It's one of the few shows I have my computer set to "tivo". It's extra nice to watch it "tivo'd" because we can skip through the commercials so it takes less time.
I like the majority of the episodes quite a lot. There are some that fall flat, miserably sometimes, but that's how it goes. The change over time of the tone of the show, over the years, is one of my favorite aspects. Plus I like the aliens and conspiracies and weird stuff where people make springs fly around with their minds. That's fun.

16never watched an entire episode except one where the bad guy was killed by hiding under the escalator and his bloody remains kept looping the proverbial loop. which was pretty cool.
apart from that, CRAp.

I remember clearly the first episode being on and scaring my little kid ass for nights.

19How is Twin Peaks like X-Files? I've never seen a full episode of Twin Peaks.

They are both incredibly stupid, boring, and annoying shows.
