Yeah, a Floyd Rose-equipped electric balalaika would be rad, but with the high added cost of lumination, I think I'll just hold out for the real deal.

Brian took out the front pickup when it died and put electrical tape over the hole. When I acquired it, I had and old Bartolini Hi-A pickup kicking around and stuck it in. It sounds pretty jazzy, in a good way. I had Lindy Fralin pot the original bridge pickup because it turned into a microphone, and I wanted to save it.

It will still go SKWEEEeeeP though, so that's good.

Brian put it in, I don't mind it. It's really the only "stay in tune" trem I like because it's not stiff like a Floyd, and it works better for subtle steel guitar-Bigsby-style bendy things.

If Kahlers are set up properly, you don't lose much sustain.

and it only counts if those are those weird HD amps with the solid state preamp and tube power section.
