I'm only on the third strip and I'm already a mess.

Just wait.
"You keep thinking that eventually they're just gonna say 'Just Kidding!' and go score some chicks."
"But they've been doing this for twenty minutes so if they're joking they're like Andy Kaufman good."
I'm really in awe of this arc.

95This only clicked with me recently. The thing i'm finding funniest is the way Ray, Roast Beef, etc. generally talks. It reminded me of something I couldn't quite put my finger on, but last night it hit me.

96I've arrived at this strip very late, and have likewise fallen for it in a big way. I've got as far as last June's storylines, and have forced myself to slow down for fear of running out. The strip is elastic brilliance.
Today's strip is another gem.
Molly, nice, not my type, walked into the room wearing erotic lingerie with a subtle computer programming theme. She had to get back to I don't know, some crappy-assed waitress job in a few hours, but for now, the my pool house was the limits of their world.

98I can't believe I missed this thread for so many months. I need to pay more attention to the C/NC forum. I was going to try to point out my favorite strip or quote, but dammit, I just love pretty much everything that's been written too much to choose.
Achewood is one of very, very few things where if I show it to someone and they tell me they don't "get it" like I do and they don't think that it is hilarious, I immediately become suspect of their worth as a human being. It's kind of the same feeling I get when I realize that someone is a racist or is a fan of the band Creed.
