tmh, after your 'investigative report', i had to watch the video again....and you're exactly right. but if you watch, not only does the guitarist on the left look at the drummer kind of confused, but you can hear that he's trying to play the song they were supposed to play...

"her band" played the wrong song. which is obviously true.

I actually guessed that the truth was something along these lines as well, but I was nowhere near motivated enough to actually research it. You're either brilliant or a complete mess, tmh.

i think this damned thing went for three pages because it represented that little well of hope that forever springs from each of us. there's really only a small collective of people who know about tricks these performers use in concert, or know what auto-tune is, etc. and to us this single event represented an "oh you are so busted" moment so big that even your dumbest american citizen could realize what was going on.

of course, that won't change anything. meaningful bands will remain known only amongst cliques of music enthusiasts and ashlee will keep selling a kooka-ba-million records a week. but maybe this will wake up a few people, and i think that's why people like us are excited about it.

i don't know guys. for someone who had such a severe acid reflux attack, she sure looked fine at the end of the show when she was laughing and smiling and blaming her band. her voice didn't croak or anything, either- despite the fact that she claims she "like, couldn't even speak at all!"

that is true. i've never had any sudden reflux "attacks" unless i've eaten something stupid (pizza, beer  ) These extremes don't often coincide with one another. After my second/third posts here I saw another interview with her where she says that she woke up that morning and then "got sick" with acid reflux. i've never heard reflux described as, or described it myself as "getting sick". basically my body just feels f*ed up 24/7. and i can still speak.

this interview did make me more skeptical
