Hmm. True. I would hope they aren't so opportunistic, but you never know.

I do a bit of electronics myself, mainly tube stuff, but I could give it a try. If you want to PM me with some details, I could offer suggestions (if I can think of any). I promise not to steal your idea.

Maybe go over to Main Drag Guitars in Williamsburg and ask there. I know one of the people who worked there has some of his own boxes for sale and the woman who does the peach fuzz and such is also a nyc person. Perhaps talking to them they might be able to hook you up. If not with them they no doubt know someone who is up and coming.

Also the guy who made all the EH designs lives in Sheepshead bay has a website and fixes all EH stuff vintage.

There also must be a lot of tech guys serviceing the studios arround town. So a call to some of the studios might help you locate a person with the proper skills.
