Has to be the various Chimay beers. I was amazed to see them available in the USA in huge wine bottles. That stuff is like morphine or something, you just become very very sluggish.

Other goodies

Leffe
Liefmans Kriekbier (cherry beer)
Paulaner
Schnieder Weisse (makes Si-maro wet himself)
Maisels Weisse

and the legendary-now-gone Bacon Beer which was a casket smoked ale you could get in Nottingham that loads of veggies drank because it tasted just like bacon. I can't remember it's real name.

Do any of the other Brits find this amusing?

I bet it commands a premium in the Yooessuvheh.

The only thing Samuel Smith has going for it as far as I'm concerned is value for money.

My girlfriends Dad tries to feed me that piss everytime I'm round there. Foul drink.

How the hell has Goose Island not come up?

Goose Island Honker's Ale is one of my favorite every day kinda beers. That's all I drink when I go to Chicago.

And while Magic Hat #9 is the easiest of the Magic Hat beers to find, it's nowhere near their best. Try their Fat Angel. That's a truly "really good beer".

Lagunitas Censored Copper Ale
Gaffel Kolsch
Arcadia Hop Mouth Double IPA
Long Trail Pale Ale

These are all really good beers.

For real Ale (not lager) can't go wrong with anything from the Wye Valley Brewery. They keep winning many awards for them and all that stuff. My favorites being HPA, Butty Bach and Golden Ale. Stout isn't really my thing but theirs is supposed to be the nearest you can get to original Guinness.

You'll never see any of this in the states but anyone floating around English pubs should keep an eye open for them since it'll probably be the best beer you'll drink.

I really love their Uff-Da bock, and the Wisconsin Belgian Red. The Belgian Red is a very refreshing Lambic style beer, perfect for a summer's day.

For an everyday beer, I really like Leinenkugel Red Ale or Creamy Dark.

Comet cafe in Milwaukee has a "signature" drink called the "Mad Cow," which is just a black & tan made out of Guinness and New Glarus Spotted Cow. It's nummers.

Mark, with your current post count, rank, and icon, i don't think you are allowed to post under that name anymore. Preserve that shit!
