Distorted Pony, Dazzling Killmen (a query)

I was searching for new music online, as I always do, and I came across two bands that I really like, Distorted Pony, and Dazzling Killmen. I can't really find much information whether they're around still, but I know their output was mainly late 80's,early 90's. Do you guys know more?

I managed to get a hold of Face Of Collapse, it's such a good album. What I can't stand, the internet has info on such horrible bands, tons and tons of it, but barely anything on truly original bands. I can barely find anything on Zeni Geva, either. Just some Southern Records blurb.

I've got a Distorted Pony album from about *edit* 1992 ("Punishment Room") and I think I've got a 7" somewhere too (not 100% on that). At the time the album seemed pretty good to me, I was lured in by the "Engineered by Steve Albini" thing, no doubt.

I'm pretty sure that there was at least one other album kicking around.

Dazzling Killmen were a great band. Nick Sakes posts here on occasions. He was also in Colossamite and is now in the really excellent Sicbay, both worth checking out if you haven't already.

Some stuff about Sicbay here. If you like loud, complex music this will have you spontaneously ejaculating. Really, really good stuff basically.

Here is a band history.

"Face of Collapse" is readily available on the internet on CD. If you are looking to get your hands on the LP, however, you're going to have to cough up a pretty penny. "Recuerda", a collection of singles and such things, is also still in print.

Another thing about DK, though. the family tree it creates is astounding. If someone spent some time on it, it would look a lot cleaner than this:

Dazzling Killmen
Darin Gray: electric bass
Nick Sakes: vocals, guitar
Blake Fleming: drums
Tim Garrigan: guitar

YOU FANTSTIC!
Tim Garrigan, Darin Gray, Thymme Jones

BRISE-GLACE
Brise-Glace was: Jim O'Rourke, Darin Gray, Thymme Jones, Dylan Posa
Later unrecorded Brise-Glace: Jim O'Rourke, Darin Gray, Kevin Drumm

Laddio Bolocko
Ben Armstrong
Drew St. Ivany
Blake Fleming
Marcus DeGrazia

GRAND ULENA
Chris Trull, guitar; Darin Gray, electric bass; Danny McClain, drums

ON FILLMORE
Darin, acoustic bass; Glenn Kotche, percussion, vibes, bells

YONA-KIT
Yona-Kit was: Darin Gray, Thymme Jones, KK Null, and Jim O'Rourke

Colossamite
Nick Sakes
Ed Rodriguez
John Dieterich
Chad Popple

GORGE TRIO are:
John Dieterich / Guitar, keyboards, electronics
Chad Popple / Drums, percussion, vibraphone, glockenspiel
Ed Rodriguez / Guitar, piano, organ, marimba

Natural Dreamers
Chris Cohen (Guitar), John Dieterich (Guitar), Jay Pellicci (Drums)

DeerHoof ETC.

Sicbay broke up last year.
