What kind of guitar do you play?

guitar: ibanez ex series. red. one string keeps breaking so i leave it off. sounds like shit over 12th fret. other problems i haven't fixed, like the strap anchor won't stay in so i play sitting down. gets the job done.

bass: i have some fancy (even potato-shaped) basses but i've recently come back to my first bass -- a korean 3/4 size cruise.

weirdly, my housemate bought an SG from him that was on the For Carnation and Papa M stuff. I used it to record with for a while - beautiful to play and it was cheap too. Thanks Dave! (in a roundabout way)

My first guitar that I still own is an 87 Japanese Fender Strat with the Kaylher Spyder bridge. It is sunburst and I got it new. I blocked off the POS bridge years ago.

For 8 years I played a black 88 Gibson SG that I bought for cheap and loved and loved. It was stolen out of my apartment in a burglery a few years back. I was heartbroken.

So until I get something really esoteric and expensive I am rocking a 2006 black Epiphone Les Paul Studio. Its a lot of guitar for not too much money.

Some day I'll also probably buy a Martin Dreadnaught acoustic.
