i don't enjoy bush's environmental record (read: lack thereof), and i've been told john edwards has a good one, but how often do you hear of a VP passing a clean water act?

that's all folks! thanks for flushing me out noah.

You are seriously, really, incredibly, stupid. You are as one of the toothless fools spitting out whatever rhetoric has been shoved down their throats in the Ohio diners the ABC newscasters were interveiwing this morning. Seriously, you are clearly - and I don't want to mince words or in any way be unclear here - you are clearly an uniteligent, non-creative, and entirely worthless piece of shit, road block in the quest for a better world. Please, I mean PLEASE kill yourself, but first, since you care about this, sign up and go serve the country in Iraq. As long as your death doesn't matter because you will never in your life make anything better, you may as well take a bullet where someone who, unlike you, possibly does not deserve to die.

It's attitudes like this that make me not want to come to this board. I understand that your pissed off, but telling someone to go kill yourself because you disagree with them is fucking sickening. Here's to free and open discourse eh?

here here. although i'll still come here to read the senseless rantings of those who dont get their way. but as someone who didnt vote for either idiot savant, all of this crybaby whining and visceral mouth garbage is exactly why i cant fucking stand those who would vote any billionaire boullioune cube into office just because they "dont like the other guy" get a fucking grip, you people sound like hitler's mentors. instead of bitching and moaning about whats wrong with the world, go cut a single saving a tree in the middle of dipshit, alabama, OR, run for public office, hmmm... change from the inside. maybe voting for someone other than business lackeys would help too.
i say i can't, but i really mean i won't!

Sure, if you see someone flush a goldfish down the toilet or shoot a deer, you break into tears, but someone that doesn't agree with you can go kill themselves. You give Vegans a bad name.
Damn psycho.

well, I can certainly understand the anger that n.c. et al have. I mean, by and large democrats usually play nice guys and republicans tend to have a Mordorian ethic towards campaigning and whatnot. And the democrats usually loose. I can understand the desire and perceived advantage to 'play hardball' or whatever you want to call it. I just think the target is wrong. Lash out at the nutjob wacko on public access. Lash out at the Republican poll challenger who's yelling at you to vote for Bush. Lash out at the fat cats who fund this shit. But I think lashing out at at average joe voter who just stated how and why he voted the way he did is totally unacceptable.

Funny, I thought it was perfectly fine. Then again, I'm actually holding someone responsible for his vote. I guess I shouldn't be doing that.

As for empty: You really are a winner. By not voting, not only were you excersizing your right to vote or not vote, you got the privilege of being lumped in with everyone else who didn't vote. Glad to hear you think you didn't do the wrong thing. So far as I'm concerned, you could have done more. I hope you agree within four years' time.

How is telling someone that they are "an uniteligent [sic], non-creative, and entirely worthless piece of shit" and that they should kill themselves holding them responsible for their vote?

seriously, anyone who voted for gwb, congratulations. if you did it b/c you think he will kick ass on terrorism and transform iraq effectively, i hope you are right and he does these things. seriously. the last thing anyone needs to do is wish for you to die or suffer or be caused any great physical discomfort as a result of your vote.

i just hope you won't mind if he and his congress put a couple of scalia-level conservatives on the supreme court and stock lower courts with conservative judges--making it ever more difficult for women to end pregnancies they don't want, warping reason with disproportional sentencing, etc.

i hope you won't mind if he makes it easier for your company to outsource your job than pay you whatever you make now.

i hope you won't mind if you have to carry the tax burden for the next 4+ years.

i hope you won't mind if he makes it impossible for gay people to cement their loving relationships the way the rest of us have always been able to do.

and i hope you won't mind having the bible shoved in your face every time he has to justify doing anything.

that's just part of the price we stand to pay for retaining him. some people are happy to pay it and WANT to pay it, but those people are beyond the reach of people like me, and they aren't the people i'm talking about. i am talking about people who stuck with bush b/c they think he offers some benefit in the war on terror/in iraq.

it's conceivable we won't have to pay that price domestically, through circumspection in either the executive or (more likely) legislative branch, and it's conceivable he'll do what his more measured supporters hope he will do re terror and the real war he has engaged in the middle east. as skeptical as i am, i truly hope both of these things come to pass.

who said i didnt vote? i just said i didnt vote for the crackheads they want you to vote for. but you've apparently bought into the idea that we are only a two-party system, as pushed by the media. try turning off the t.v. and stop sucking peter jennings toes. its probably just your total lack of social skills that allow you to browbeat everyone who can't agree with you. do you really think you did the right thing by voting out an oil rich multi-millionaire and putting in a gold-digging multi-billionaire was really doing the right thing? was the right thing to vote the "lesser of two evils"? you've been played, my good man, and you'll probably never be able to admit that to yourself.
i say i can't, but i really mean i won't!
