in the interest of seeing how this might actually affect people, personally, not in some pie-in-the-sky kinda idealistic way, but in a real, personal, real-life way...

FYI - the number of abortions had by everyone i've dated or been friends with is 2. so i voted 2-3.

I have never had to go through that decision with anyone, luckily. I think a high-school ex may have had one, but I can't be sure. She definitely didn't ask or involve me.

I knew this girl that had several. It was her preferred form of birth control. That creeps me out.

that would be my wife's best friend. i also know i'm missing one niece/nephew. my wife had one before i met her and put another one up for adoption, and i'd say she's still glad her son is alive out there. maybe he'll come and meet his half-siblings one day.

Maybe I'm way off with this, but could they take the aborted fetuses and use them for stem cell research, is that possible? I'm sure there would be enough to go around...
