Wounded Foot The King is the literal translation of Oedipus Rex.
Wounded Foot The King was also supposed to be the name of this band some friends and I are working on getting togther (we scrapped the name). I chose the user name WoundedFoot in the honor of a band that could've been named as such.

137after years of being in a band, paying for practice space rent, a crappy van, insurance for said van, gas for said van, guitars, amps, amp repairs, guitar setup, straps, straplocks, cords, strings, pedals, batteries for said pedals, recording, beer, pot, cigarettes etc. etc. etc. I realized how much money I had sunk into this hobby/career/experience, and how pitiful little I had recovered via the $100 - $200 gigs we played around town. I was never going to be in the black, and I really did not care, since it was such a fucking blast to play loud punk rock music with my friends in a small club full of drunken bike messengers who insisted on doing stage dives into each other.
I had a moment of true wisdom as I was paying the frikkin practice space rent one day:
"there is a lot of money in punk rock, and it's all mine...."

I love Achewood, and it appears that I am far from alone in this respect.
That is one of my favorite Achewood strips. Well played. That last panel kills me. "No."
My name is Todd, and I am frequently given the nickname T-bone by most people at some point once they become acquainted with me, regardless of whether or not they are aware that they are not the first to do this. I suspect most people whose names begin with the letter T also experience this.
Also, I love the shit out of some steak.
