A number of years ago, after being forced to quit graduate school, I was drunkenly going over possible careers in my head. Somehow I came upon the idea that I was going to bring back the vaudeville comedy duo. The character names I came up with for the duo were Barbo Mankle and Lester Chiggums. It never got off the ground--mostly because I could not find someone to play the role of Lester and I realized that I am not funny. When I registered the name Jon was taken, the name Jonathan is too pompous sounding, and my full name was just too long, so I went with Barbo.

Corman always impressed me by making movies in 2 days for next to no money that are more entertaining than many big budget films.

Whoa. I just noticed the avatar too... thats bad ass. A Bucket Of Blood is a great film.

Some other guy who posts on here... his avatar is a picture of the corpse of Anna from the Joe D'amato film Buried Alive (aka Beyond The Darknesss, Buio Omega), that also delighted me.
