Celebrate the New Dark Age is a great record, as is Shapes (although that seems to get a bad rap around here).

I have never owned Exploded Drawing. In fact, it's possible I have never heard it. I am going to buy this record tomorrow, in honor of the summertime.

Also, it's possible to fall into a Polvo style of guitar playing by using an alternate tuning, but playing chords as if you were playing in the standard tuning. Doing this while being high as the moon isn't necessary, but it probably won't hurt.

In terms of ripping off Polvo, no-one comes close to Les Savy Fav.

I like both bands but it is completely blatent.
