Troublesome Neighbours, or Is Revenge Ever Justified?

That was a great show too.

However, Ian MacKaye is both a legend and a fine human being, but when he started protesting about the number of CCTV cameras in the area, I did think to myself, "Spend a week here, and then see whether you're so set against them".

My liberal tendencies are really tested by this kinda shit.

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

I'm always in favour of an Aliens-style "pull out, nuke the site from orbit", always.

However, once you've done the pulling out business, I'd take a leaf out of God's book: try a plague of locusts or similar. I'm sure you could get a load of cockroach or flea eggs, and endeavour to get them through the letterbox or an open window. Oh man, if only you could get parmiter bugs

Now, you could adopt the mature approach being advocated here, or you could unleash the beast and 'fuck' this 'shit' 'all up in its face'. Rimbaud III suggests you invest in some medieval weapons - a trebuchet perhaps - and launch a full scale imperial attack on the entire neighbourhood. Sock it to Sneinton.

You may or may not wish to do this dressed as a ninja.

Seriously though, revenge really isn't a good course of action. Do you rent? Depending on how much time you have left on your contract you could ride it out until it's time to move on and just hope that these scallys get bored in the meantime. One thing I would say is ensure that the house is secure, and if it is rented, contact the landlord and let him know what's going on. You don't want to end up footing the bill for any damage caused by these scallys.

You could start by rigging up a dummy CCTV camera and installing a motion-sensitive floodlight. This might at the very least push them to such a distance that throwing eggs becomes more of a challenge and therefore too much effort for their turkey-twizzler sustained frames.

Nottingham is clearly one of the shittiest cities in the UK. Didn't it have the largest amount of gun crime in the UK last year?
The shows are always great there, yet, every time I've played there we always seem to get in some kind of bother with the locals. One time, we were loading our equipment out of a club, when a car reversed past us at a tremendous speed nearly knocking us off our feet. The car then accidentally reversed over a bottle causing a loud 'crash of glass'. The driver immediately got out of the car and started shouting at everyone in the street; "who threw a fucking bottle at my car???” He then started pushing random people in the street, including an old man and his wife. Then some fucking rat cunt blamed it on us, he actually pointed at us and said we threw the bottle! No one even threw a bottle! The cunt driver had reversed over it!!!! Next thing I know, 4 BIG guys get out of the car and start running towards us shouting "why the fuck did you do that"... I protested my innocence, but it's not enough for some meatheads. My friend was punched in the face and I was extremely lucky to escape a beating, I don’t know how I did??? The guys were even trying to steal our amplifiers, saying "hey blood, let's take their boxes". Shame the fender twin weighs so much you pussies. Ha!
I was extremely disappointed with the cops, who were literally sat 10 yards away on the opposite street. I'm not saying they saw what happened, but they could clearly hear the commotion, and they did fuck all to help us or intervene!

Man, your story is really upsetting. It happens in major cities all over the UK though. If you are hell bent on revenge (and I don’t blame you), then I would wait until you have actually moved out, then return to the area and do exactly what they have done to you. You could, on the other hand just let it go, making you a better human being than they’ll ever be.
