Yes, he's a creep and no one should have to put up with his creepiness in the workplace. But at the very least, he doesn't use sweatshops, pays a good wage, and doesn't hire plastic fuckdolls for his ads.
For me, I'd say it's a good alternative (for what it supplies) until a better one is found. Is there a better one already out there I don't know about?
Absolutely valid points. As I was making my own little list of places I don't give my dollars to, I realized how idiosyncratic it is. Sometimes certain articles or causes stick with you more than others, and AA's offenses stuck for me. I am happy there are showing crazy profitability while paying a living wage and giving health care in the States. It's great and I hope it spreads. It's not novel to use sex to sell anything and his plastic just-fucked dolls aren't too high up on the list for me about him sucking.
As for alternatives, are you needing an ethical source for the metallic leggings or the dog hoodies? ["har-har" emoticon] But for the coked out disco-trash look they are all about lately, recycled wares from thrift stores have them beat hands down. On many fronts.
