just saw them in concert (2 plus hours) and im into LOUD but this was something else! had to be pushing seriously high SPL's and some seriously low end, id say sub 20Hz at times.....anyone else blown away by these guys??

yes, 3 times. In a small club, they can make time stop. (Figuratively),. the records are cool, but there's a reason the label motto is Maximum Volume Yields Maximum Results. Live is really the best. If you get a chance check out OM live.

I always come out out of Sunn gigs a little scared, but completely happy.

When Sunn played Islington Academy, to make the evening even more freaky, some dude eyeballs deep in acid, at a guess, just started freaking out and had to be restrained and carried out. I felt so weird after that show.

Om playing London soon. This too makes me happy.

How do these bands not cause blown fuses and brownouts to electrical grids? I mean we are dealing with 110v of power in the US through a standard plug. Are they just pushing TONS of speakers?

I heard SUNN or was it Khanate? playing a club and outside it sounded like a subway wreck with a continuous -20hz bass tone hurting my chest. outside, mind you.

I saw Sunn and Earth play together on a boat. Earth were better.

I saw SUNN at an art gallery nad they had programs that said that SUNN's music had "sphincter relaxing" qualities.

Saw them in Sydney, probably the next night that you did in Melbourne.
Although they were better than last time it was still a total Sausage Fest and they are balls.
Boris however were fucking great!

I've not seen Sunn 0))) live, though I'd like to. I'd have to say though, that the loudest band that I've seen had to have been Jucifer.

If anybody has seen both Jucifer and Sunn 0))) live, tell us who you think is the louder of the two.
