Just for the record, regardless of the music they make...Coco Rosie are not hot ladies. They arent remotely attractive. They definitly have that middle class, sweaty, greasy art school girl look down though.

To be honest, I don't think the female thing has anything to do with it. For me, some of their songs are just rubbish. "Rainbow Warriors", even without the video, is just not a good song. However, "By Your Side" is a good one. So, go figure.

Perhaps you should talk to this guy about CocoRosie. Maybe he could shed some light on why you have such an uphill struggle to gain universal acceptance for them.

Spires that in the Sunset Rise does exactly this and its spooky and exciting and confounding. I have seen several mind-blowing shows. and they're a wonderful family of oddball women. it's got nothing to do with it. I think the cocorosie stuff that I've heard is just plain bad.
