Currently on a US tour to support their new album. I saw them twice this past weekend and they still manage to bring it after all these years. Check out their MySpace page for dates and venues near you. If you've never seen 'em live, don't let their recordings scare you away... Go check 'em out, you won't be disappointed.

They're touring with Tool during the summer.

Tool.

I'm not a big fan of their albums; their sound doesn't really translate too well on disc, but they're great live. There's a fair amount of live footage on YouTube. That's what sold me on them, and that's why I'm going to see them live in a few weeks.

Not Crap because their live show is a spectacle to behold. God bless Japan.

E.g. "[url=http:etcetc]text[url]"

I'd be interested to hear what their new album sounds like. The last one was ace, I thought.

Is Dave Witte playing drums for the tour again?

I suggest trying to catch them live. If you don't have fun at one of their gigs, then the records are probably not going to be worthwhile for you.

I definitely have to be in the right mood to listen to them. A little like Haribou sweets (this is no criticism in my case).

No, not when I saw them, it was the Japanese drummer... sorry, I forget his name. I'm not sure who's on the new album either as there are no credits. There is a special thanks, though, to Dave Witte for drum ideas, whatever that means.
