I hope they are the future of rock music.

how is could this be if they are making music now?

Have you heard the record?

Listen to it a few times and a lot of weird shit will start to make sense.

yes, i own the record and i think it's pretty good. what i dont understand is the idea of them being the future of rock music... they're doing it right now! I guess I just don't understand what you're trying to say when you say you hope they will be the future of rock music. Are you saying you hope all bands will sound like them? I hope not. Not because they are bad, but because they already sound like them.

It was just a comment to stress how great I think they are. I think they're making some of the most interesting "rock" music that I've ever heard.

And I hope rock music continues to be interesting?

This one album of theirs I own, it is not aging well for me. I have listened to it once in the past 2 months. The "I sing Japanese" thing or whatever it is gimmick gets old really quick, and the lyrics, oh man, the lyrics.

I don't know about this band.

It's because she's Japanese. What next? The "singing in an old male voice thing or gimmick gets old really quick on this Johnny Cash album"
