i dunno about ny* or la, but some of the greatest times i've had going to shows were in texas. it's texas for god's sake. texas rules. and given the motivation, we were a very dedicated fanbase.

good food in dc too.

*although the more i hear about people moving to brooklyn-- specifically who, of my friends, and why-- the less i like it

sure. i like playing house shows too, assuming that there's room for the audience, room for the band, people can see the performers, there's a pa if necessary, etc. i do prefer the house show idea to the bar show idea most of the time.

nyc totally fucking rules! so does dc! i agree with you about LA. i wouldn't mind never playing LA again. san diego/ are way more fun, though, and not too far away.

Just get your asses down here and we will come. ( on 'yer asses)

we will be there and you can buy us drinks. Uh, we will buy you drinks?

blah blah blah blah blah

Jesse Krakow wrote an awesome song on the subject:

when i was born
i knew that didn't belong
and now that i'm born
i know i don't belong
in a Factory of Coolness

I remember a time when Brooklyn was a place you didn't want to go to.

So funny.
