HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

I had an inclination to visit Pitchfork just now...knew this was a possibility, but its realization made me shit a brick.

NOTE: Spiderland is reported as being from 1994 on Pitchfork as of 1:33 AM Central Time. A geeky detail, yes...but Jesus Christ, fuck Pitchfork.

Daydream Nation and Spiderland performed on the same day. For $15. Wow. Maybe I don't hate Pitchfork anymore.

I saw this. A part of me thinks that they said 94 just to see if anyone here would notice and make a big deal about it.

The GZA is performing all of Liquid Swords also. My god, I would love to go.

I was thinking. Brian hasn't been playing guitar because he says he needs to concentrate on vocals. What Slint need to do is get Brian back on guitar and let the GZA rock the mic. I would fly to the US just to see this.

ok
i was to their show yeasteday in paris.

They did not play spiderland fully despite what was advised.
Instead they played only the "hits" from this album, and then they played three songs (if i am right) i didn't know. Maybe they were doing what they used to do back in the 1990's : play new songs without vocals on a live gig to see if it's worth writing a text for it, in order to put it on their next album.

So if i am right (wich is not shure at all), this means "Yes, they work on a new album".

Are you sure you were there? They played the 6 tracks from Spiderland in the exact same order. Then they played two old tracks (think it was the two from the Glenn/Rhonda 7") then a new instrumental track that I don't particulary found extraordinary.
