I say we take to this war to their house. Just find any old shitbag classic rock forum. I'm too lazy to google any.

Oh! OH!
I'm raising you a Stevie Ray Vaughn!
We can say that here too.
Awesome.

Keep 'em coming people. It's idol shooting season and I'm ready to hunt.

I don't know- I'm a father of two, so I don't laugh at the thought of my son or daughter dying or anyone elses. Was there a sincere intent and legitimite feeling behind this "hit"? Yeah, I think so. It may be the only sincere thing he's ever done. It's kind of moving to me- to the extent that I can't really bring myself to listen to it when it's on the radio. My brain speed-shutters worse case scenarios about my kids every minute as it is... I don't need assistance. Now, one could perceive that to be a well executed marketing triumph designed to pull the heartstrings of parents everywhere, but if that is in fact the case, then it succeeds in that.

Don't get me wrong... I hate that uninspired douchebag.

Stevie Ray Vaughn is worse. He's a hack and nothing but a white Hendrix wanna be. Fuck that jizzhead and everyone who worships him.

Simply put, I never understood why Clapton appealed to so many people. His unadventurous songwriting and incredibly standard-issue guitar playing lead me to file his music in all-around boring category.

On another note, a former roommate of mine who was way more into blues than I am roundly criticized him for his inability to persuade black accompanying musicians to play with him on his first solo album.

When I was 20 I wrote a letter to Tesco Vee, telling him the Hate Police should do a cover of Tom Petty's Free Falling and dedicate it to Eric Clapton's dead kid. He wrote me a letter back saying the Clapton gag is funny, he should use it on stage sometime.

Months later I was talking to my friend in LA, who told me "man, I just saw Tesco Vee's Hate Police last night, the funniest thing that guy said was 'This next song is a cover of Tom Petty's Free Falling and it's dedicated to Eric Clapton's dead kid!'"

I was thrilled beyong recognition.

Eric Clapton is the Kenny G of blues, so fuggit.

Fuck Stevie Ray Vaughn too, and that comes from having lived in Autism, TX for 7 years.
You call me a hater like that's a bad thing
