See, back in the days of the Flag, they didn't have peer-to-peer filesharing--they had to fool people right to their face. Punk rock was so hard back then.

there are a hundred things about shellac that obviously make them shellac.

tones and production are only part of it. there are three very distinct personalities playing those instruments. people can cop tones and riffs, but no one really plays like bob, steve and todd. it's pretty obvious it's them when you hear them. and it should be just as obvious when it's not them.
somebody help me. i can't help myself.
