It was made by a fellow named Jeff Abel (if I recall his 1st name correctly) who started up a company to make solid-body aluminum guitars but went under after making about 350 guitars.

1963 Fender Musicmaster - one pickup, short-scale, huge strings. godlike. use it for playing solo, mostly.

newish Epiphone Casino - feedbacky and warm and rude. my main rock band guitar.

'98 Squier Super-Sonic - amazing double-humbucker guitar, w/reverse Jag body & neck. made by Fender Japan, so it might say Squier but it's a total sleeper/ass-kicker. my other rock band guitar

40's Kay acoustic archtop - old and beat and cracked to all hell. sounds amazing, with big bronze strings that hurt, just a little.

90's Squier Musicmaster Bass - the 60's & 70's Fender Musicmasters had a crappy pickup, shitty bridge, and quite often some funky intonation. the new Squiers got all of those things right, and in a bitchin' surf green color, too.

all I need is a good Tele ... or an Esquire ... and a Tele Deluxe ... damnit.
