Why is the candy bar Yorkie "Not For Girls!"?

The Yorkie bar is a thick chocolate bar. I have vague memories of adverts from my childhood playing on this by portraying real-men exerting considerable effort in snapping these bars in two.

Hence, the Yorkie bar was seen as a chocolate bar requiring male strength to break. This in turn led to the hilarious advertising campaign stating that the bar is unsuitable for girls, as they evidently have weak muscles.

Imagine the surprise when the advertising was criticised. It seemed to work, though; the bars are very popular.

i was going to create a thread called..

'i knew they were british'

it was about this line infront of a mediocre restaurant..something like 160 people strong..

i knew they were british because they would stand in a line for some forgettable food in a miserable location because it was easier than picking one of the 100 fine dining establishments within a 10 block radius..
i knew they were british because they only wanted to go to the easily recognizable restaurant..because they could get piss drunk, fall down the stairs and pick up some freckled tramp to give them head....

still though..i applaud your efficiency (sp?)

it is strong, like your women..

Maybe "I knew they were Chavs" is more correct?
