ross perot. what a crazy fuck. i can't believe that he actually had a chance. that is until someone made death threats against his daughter and he withdrew... then didn't withdraw. that was a truly crazy moment in popular culture. break out the pie charts, it's PEROT TIME!

i actually think it's a great movie. no joke.

Senator Paul Wellstone (D-MN), "the Soul of the Senate." Like Feingold, he was on the losing end of many a 99-1 vote. And yet, Trent Lott showed up at Wellstone's memorial (only to be booed mercilessly).

Honorable mention goes to Senator Eugene McCarthy, who was the only real anti-war candidate in 1968. It cost him his career, but history has proven him correct. (Sound familiar?)
