Bands should only be allowed to release one album - discuss
81Maybe it should have a "Japanese Noise" setting as well...
Oh hell yeah. It'll have to have an entire Mike Patton library of screeches and odd gutteral noises.big_dave wrote:It should autodial John Zorn and claim to be Mike Patton.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that in the Western 12-tone system it was the odd-order harmonics, the 3rds, 5ths, 7ths, etc. that are considered consonant, and that the evens are considered dissonant with the half-step difference being most dissonant.
About a month ago, I saw that YouTube video where Steve was describing some kind of distortion pedal thing. On the topic of harmonics he said the opposite, that the evens were more pleasing to hear. Now I'm totally confused.
common practice period consonant intervals include:
* Perfect consonances:
o unisons and octaves
o perfect fourths and perfect fifths
* Imperfect consonances:
o major thirds and minor sixths
o minor thirds and major sixths
