Her stand-up routine is funny at times, and she's done some really funny voice acting work for animated shows, but that TV series of hers is about as funny as a dead puppy. The writing sucks and her character is so unlikable that it pisses me off just to watch it.

Another halfway-decent stand-up comedian whose show sucks IMO, is Carlos Mencia. His TV show is nothing but a bunch of mean-spirited, uncreative and unfunny racial and ethnic jokes, but that's supposed to be OK coming from him because he's hispanic. WTF?

I think what happens is, the Comedy Central executives get the idea to create a show around a stand-up comic, hoping to score a Seinfeld-type hit. So they hire a lot of writers to distill the comic's stand-up material down to a few easily recyclable jokes and skits.

She was funnier to me in a supporting spot, not so much now that she's the main attraction. And to me, when she does a bad bit, it's painfully unfunny.

I haven't seen her show, but I have yet to see a decent comic made better by their own comedy central series. Maybe by the time I come around and start to understand/crave some good poop jokes it will be out on DVD!

Worth sucks, but it seems pretty innocuous. Most of the people in my neighborhood are about 90, so aside from slow drivers I've encountered almost zero problems. Yeah, the community is dead/dying. I mean, we don't have an applebee's or a chile's or anything! But it's not like I'm looking to raise a family here.

Every time I see this pathetic story, it does make me smile. It's bad to get off vicariously on someone else's troubles, but she deserves it if anyone does.

I haven't read this thread that much, but man, anyone else hear about how she's dosed up with psychotropic drugs and not eating because she's afraid jailers will sell photos of her on the pot to the Internet...good lord, classic media trash. every so often you have to let your anti-media-culture guard down for a little. we're talking avant-garde levels of true Crass here. so funny/pathetic/but still funny.
