I can upload this, or you can get the good shit, which would either be their unofficial 'Live At Last' release from 1973, or their original demos. they'd be one big file, though as I 've been really slack about breaking them down into separate tracks.

First. get a audio recording program (i.e. Peak, Cubase, Garage band.) for the MAC. All mac's now come with Garage band.

Now take your amplifier output ( which your turntable should be hooked up too!)

Run a cable (most likely 1/4", 1/8", or RCA to your mac into the MIC 1/8" input. These components are readily available at your local Radio Shack for under $15 bucks.


Clean your records! use some D4 cleaning solution.


You might have to configure where the audio is coming from in the Mac (via preferences) Select audio in or some such shit!


Hit record on the program. Drop the needle on the record and the drum beat goes like this...

I never said that he shouldn't digitize the vinyl tracks, or that nobody should help him out, I just said that that stuff shouldn't be posted up here. If somebody wants to PM those records to him, whatever.

I didn't recognize Tolumne's name in here, and since it's generally common knowledge around here that we don't post popular commercial releases, I (perhaps wrongly) assumed that he was unaware of that unwritten rule.

no, i don't mind it. i just don't ask for it specifically. and sometimes, it's unavoidable. honestly, most everyone puts great stuff up on this thread, stuff i wouldn't have listened to otherwise. so i'm grateful, no matter what the quality is. if i really like it, i go out and buy it!
