Oh, Candy - Cheap Trick.
I have to learn how to sing and play this one at the same time by Sunday. I'm about halfway there.
The mind is willing, but the flesh is weak.

(I was led to it by a Screaming Trees cover of the song 'Freedom', but I can think of lots of other bands who must owe a mighty debt to that Buffalo sound...)
Probably a third of the ones I give regular rotation...
Do you know the bands Trapeze or Truth & Janey? How about Cactus?
I only have the one fake* Cactus album that was given to me a long time ago that I almost forgot all about... but I probably really need to make a better effort to hear the real stuff...
I don't know Trapeze or Truth & Janey... I'm all ears, if you have recommendations.
* "The New Cactus Band, led by Duane Hitchings, released one album (Son of Cactus) and featured no original Cactus members. Mike Pinera, formerly of Blues Image and Iron Butterfly, came in on guitar, along with Roland Robinson on bass and Jerry Norris on drums. The New Cactus Band soon disbanded."

1439Was the post above me actually thread specific spam? These bots are getting smarter all the time.
Currently I am listening to Come's Eleven Eleven - and really, l would be hard pressed to think of a better album or band coming out of the early 90's. So, for those of you who already own this album, put it back on the turntable and give it a spin. For those of you who have never heard it, check it out.
It must be early 90's day or something, because I think Congregation by Afghan Whigs is going to get slapped on the turntable next.
