32You guys are just mean. really. what's your deal? so you don't like this kind of music, clyde does. some other people like it too. there are bands who play this kind of music for fun, not for succeeding. Right, it's not "our" cup of tea. but come on, relax! what's with this attitude?
Clyde, if you play in this band because you like, and you all like it and doing that because of this reason, and not for being the next big thing, then great. keep on doing that. btw, your drummer is Israeli?

33Actually, our singer is part Iranian, but the drummer I'm not sure. He was born in the USA, but as far as decendence I'm not sure.

34When you play Chicago you can tell everyone from the stage about the abuse and scorn heaped on you by the too-cool punks. You'll win the crowd over and they'll say, Boooooo!! (Fuck those too-cool snobs!) And you'll say, But you guys are allright!
You picklesmoker.

36Dear Clyde,
Seriously. In Chicago, go to Hot Doug's. It's apparently the holy grail of Hot Dog eating.
Other than that, I'm just curious. What brought you to the Electrical Audio forums? Those recordings of your band, it's not remotely engineered in any way that anyone here would engineer it, and it is, obviously the antithesis of what people here would play.
I would go back and check your profile and read some of your previous posts (I seem to remember you posting in the tech forum before), but I really would just like to hear it from you.
...and really, I wish you and your crap band a successful night at Sylvie's. But really... you know in your heart of hearts that it's crap. Admit you're doing it for the nookie and be done with it.

37I don't understand how bands like Clyde's come together. I don't see how it's even possible for them to even like each other.
I have to say...listening to this music did stab me in the soul.

38Actually what brought me here is mostly the same as more than likely everyone here. I took a liking to some of Steve's recordings. Also, the last studio I worked at worked with Zero Return studios very often sending material back and fourth and that was one of Steve's friends as well. Now, of course ZR is no longer with us, but I'm sure Jim will bring something back.
Yes, I know this bands recordings may be the Anti-Albini, and that's why I didn't ask you all to write a bands review. I didn't mix this album, nor did I produce it. If you took the time to read anything on the page you would find that I was an assistant engineer for a lot of the core material and I ended up playing a lot of guitar on the album and they asked me to join.
If you would like to hear something I engineered fully try this http://www.myspace.com/iamthebanker. It was recorded in my friends garage and I took it into the studio where I worked to mix it on the Neve.
Here's another group I did some work with http://www.myspace.com/alienredmusic
