If you've never heard the live version of Come On Children, you're in for a treat. I can email it to you if you'd like. Also, the classic What'cha Gonna Do About It is brilliant.

As if by magic, one of my co-workerd bought in the Small Faces boxed set, "The Immediate Years" to work today. I'm listening to it now. I like.
I make music/I also make pretty pictures

If anyone gets VH1 Classic, look for "Live at the BBC: The Faces" and tape/dvd/dvr that shit.

It originally aired in 1971, and the sound quality rivals their studio material. It's fuckin PHENOMINAL. Rod's eyes are totally glazed over and the rest of the band is obviously drunk, but they hold it together with an amazing swagger. Totally rips!!!

I DVD'd it for a friend who had no idea Rod Stewart was ever cool, and it changed her life.

Rod Stewart: Total Dude.

Oh absolutely, and at the risk of repeating myself for the billionth time, the opener "Three Button Handmedown" confirms that they were the band to give the Stones a run for their money in the live department.
