First show you ever went to
152Jean Michel Jarre at Docklands, London in October 1988. It was shit. And rained.
And then two days later, The Wedding Present at the Town & Country Club. The DJ played 'God Save The Queen' & 'Anarchy In The UK' just before they came on stage. It was so exciting. Two blokes pushed past me to get down the front and as they did so one of them said to me "your mum's on the phone".
My friend John's first gig was The Cult at Wembley Arena in 1987. He told me the next day at school that they were giving out free cigarettes as you went in. That was amazing.

First show you ever went to
153Elton John and Billy Joel at Texas Stadium in fifth grade. When people started holding up lighters I though they would drop them and I would catch on fire.
A few months later was Jerry Lee Lewis. Stood by the back door waiting for two hours for an autograph that never came. Bastard.
