I realize that many of you within driving distance of Chicago are gonna waste your money to go see Slint, GZA and Sonic Youth. Those of you who aren't should check out this totally sweet bill at The Note.
Haymarket Riot (some dudes who know how to rock)
Valina (some band from the Europe)
Push-Pull (MTAR & someone else who I think posts on here)
A Vast Amount Of Scientific Data (Mr. Chimp, electrons & myself)
To make it seem even more enticing, this show is $6 in advance and $8 at the door.
If I am remembering correctly, that's half of what Pitchfork is that night and you get double the amount of bands.
So ditch the Fork and come rock out to bands that will get your cock out.

So in theory you should have no problem leaving early to come check out our show which I think starts around 9 or 9:30.

As long as I've seen all of GZA, Slint and Sonic Youth then no, no problem at all. I am very interested in hearing this board band.
it's not the length, it's the gersch

yeah, this is going to be great fun.

I'd like to add that this will be Haymarket Riot's 300th show anniversary, and in celebration they will be giving out special 300th anniversary commemorative baseballs to the first 100 lucky music fans, and everyone that comes through the door that night gets a free beer ticket courtesy of the Riot.

We are trying very hard to push the show start back until 10:00 so that even the pitchfokers can make it out to this superior event.

Also, Valina is a great band. We are honored to tour with this skinny Austrian rock troupe.
