Originally, I was going to send these to a couple of people, but they are so fantastic and both men were so influential in their respective mediums back in the day, I have decided to just put them up here.

Rocket From The Tomb, Pere Ubu, dead at 24 and now almost forgotten. He was awesome. If you don't know anything about him, spend a bit of time with google and learn about him. Lester Bangs wrote a eulogy for him called "Peter Laughner Is Dead." Worth your time.

There is a crap/ not crap on Alan that was started by Glynnis. (I think)
I have not contributed to the thread because I have been unable to properly verbalize how much this man has impacted my life over the past 20 years or so.
This album is a strange one and NOT an example of his usual, um..style.
Read about it here.. http://tinyurl.com/4jsnd

Enjoy.
Animals are something invented by plants to move seeds around. An extremely yang solution to a peculiar problem which they faced. T. Mckenna

Thanks a ton Nina, look forward to hearing this. I have a rather strange request that someone out there may be able to fill. There are bootleg versions of the original Mixes and Order of the Clash's "Combat Rock" Under the title "Rat Patrol from Fort Bragg". If anyone has this I would be higly appreciative. Having returned from excursions and vacations, I have a few things in mind for the near future, including some "Modern" Jazz for you senor Skronk.

Holy crap, what a hard album to find. Thanks so much for posting it, this is one album that'll easily get lost in the annals of history.
