Greatest opening riffs of all time

A few people have put 'Raining Blood' forward? Don't get me wrong, that song has some killer riffs all over it, but an opening riff? The first riff doesn't even make an appearance for around 30 seconds. When i saw the thread title i started to think about a riff as an opening gambit on the song's behalf so to speak.

So, the ones i said earlier and for good measure i'll throw in :

Metallica - The Shortest Straw
The Monks - Complication
The Beatles - Hey Bulldog
High On Fire - Blessed Black Wings
Blue Cheer - Out Of Focus
Shocking Blue - Send Me A Postcard
Mastodon (again) - March Of The Fire Ants

DRAGONAUT by Sleep is still the best though.

I'm really enjoying this thread as it has made me check out some songs i previously never knew or whose great riffs i had not fully appreciated.
You're a shit DM and i want my pizza money back.
