Picked up Escape From New York two disc edition for five dollars.
Not Crap.
Film Director: John Carpenter
32i love john carpenter. made halloween on a shoestring budget and did the unthinkable task of creating a genre. still continues to have the same penny pitching mentality with all his movies. not to mention he makes his own music for said movies. industrious fellow in my eyes.

33I must have watched big trouble in little china about a million times when I was a kid it was until the last few years that looked back at his other work, like the thing, they live, Escape from New york and realized that he's fucking brillant. Obviously ghosts of mars, vampires, etc.. are fucking garbage but you can't expect everything someone does to be gold.

34Prince of Darkness had so much potential. A battle between science and religion about theoretical physics and parallel universes. Then it turns into a predictable "posession" movie.
kerble is a walking contradiction

35Escape From L.A. is the best thing he has done in the last decade. Perfectly combines action with its satirical jabs. Not Crap.
