I got a mig 60 cheap, 3 years ago off the bay. it has jj tubes. I haven't tried sovteks yet, but I like it. it's a solid amp. it's very natural sounding. it sounds good at any level pretty much, except it sounds better loud. I'd say--and this has been probably said before but it's very gainy, but I like it that way, if you want a loud amp with a sweet natural tone. I'd get one. oh, and they sound better than marshalls imho.

Old post, but I'd like to comment that I've never heard one that sounded remotely like any Marshall. I have a Super Lead and prefer it to JCM800s, and a Park combo that's like an 800 but "smoother". People I know with Sovteks have had them in the shop quite a bit. My Marshall and Park have performed for like 20+ years without a repair. Worth the extra money for sound and reliability.

Is anyone else on here a new sensor dealer? I can't seem to order any sovtek amps but the midget online. is that all they make anymore?

The coolest punk rock guitar tone I have ever recorded was from a Mig 100. These amps are WAY LOUD! seem to be really solid. thats my .02

i bought my mig60 off a friend for $200 about eight years ago. it has been on no less than 5 US tours and been played on many sessions in my studio. it sounds awesome and has never failed me (*knocking wood*) despite repeated abuse and no maintenance

wow... that is not an jcm or some kind of that preaty british things, that is a russian tank and believe me, it will be your favrite amp, if u want a lot of efects try a line 6, 'cause a mig 100 is pure valve power, and it's loud... very loud! i've played in one of a friend of my and i just love it, i wanna buy one to, but i don't know where, here in portugal i just can get vox, fender, marshall and shits like that. do u know where can i buy one on line?? thanks
