The best advice for not getting your car messed with anywhere in Chicago is to put everything--things of value, garbage, clothes, EVERYTHING--in the trunk and out of sight. I suspect any urban area is the same. It doesn't matter if you're in a nice neighborhood or a rough one.

I've always had good luck parking on Lake St. west of Ashland going to the Pitchfork Festival in years past.

Your avatar appears to be Emmanuel Lewis. Salut!

Yeah, come say hi to me at the Sickroom Records table.

I'll be the one with a white belt, emo haircut, and eyeliner.

I'm just messing with you guys!

Good thing you said something.

That's what I was going to wear.

Good thing you said something, because I wasn't going to wear that, but I am now, comerado.

I think it will be interesting and I do plan on checking her out. Since she has a new album out I fear that it will be "electronics" or "turntable" based. Isn't that what people do when they want to seem current.

I'm more excited about Slint who I haven't seen play in about 18 years. And Sonic Youth, Battles, Grizzly Bear, Mastodon, Malkmus & Cat Power. I like quite a few of those other groups but I'm not sure how it will translate to the big stage.

And I'm going to stop by the booths and say hello. Be nice. I'm bashful.

I am only going tonight and only because I have never seen Slint and Daydream Nation is one of my all time favorite albums. I mostly detest large concerts and crowds but sometimes I just can't deny the rock. The rest of the bands I want to see I've seen or will wait for their club appearances.

By the way Pitchfork, the Touch And Go fest allowed reentry without any problems. Why can't you? Oh wait I know, it's because you fucking suck big donkey dicks.
it's not the length, it's the gersch

I'll be watching Slint play Spiderland and Sonic Old play Daydream Nation tonight. Afterwards, I will work my way to the Note to meet up with the rest of you.

I will probably be getting a beer when GZA plays. I can't pretend to know much of the Wu-Tang Clan or any of their side projects.

I don't have tickets for any other day, but I didn't really want to go. The only things I will sorely miss are Battles on Saturday and Deerhunter on Sunday. I think both will translate well to the big stage.

No reentry?!?! What the fuck am I going to do during GZA? I planned on strolling up at lame-ass Cobra Lounge for a few beers. Shoot.
