I would like to know more about this baseball action. I like the game and used to play, though in my last season of organized ball (1986) I played exactly one inning. I can't hit, but my knuckleball crosses the plate if the wind's working for me.

There are only 4 employees over here at Acme, so fielding an interstudio game is out of the question.

There are two ways to play Wiffleball: for pride or for stakes. As a gambling man, I naturally favor playing for stakes. Our last Wiffleball wager was for a "loser pays" barbecue dinner against the band .22, and I probably don't have to tell you who won.

Jeremy, what's Andies on Clark like?

Last time we played, we played at this gym where the Bulls practice, and it was kinda expensive. I'm not sure if that's the best place to play or not. Anyone have a better place they know of?

Should we play indoors or outside? It's been beautiful outside, so I'm voting for outside. But it might be too much of a pain to deal with the wiffle ball going all over the place if it's windy.

What do you guys think?

are you familiar with the Windy City Fieldhouse?

its located on the three way intersection of Elston/Logan/Western ... its a huge complex, you can rent rooms by the hour, i'm not exactly sure how it works...you can check out their website - www.windycityfieldhouse.com

also, they have a whole section of their website dedicated to "team building" in case electrical ever has any problems with employee morale levels.

there is also a park on the corner of California and Irving Park (on the east side of california about a block south of irving park) which is set up for wheelchair softball - its a baseball diamond with a homerun fence and foul poles, the whole deal...the surface is like a tennis court and the dimensions are pretty small...its usually empty, because from what i've noticed, they only have actual wheelchair games once a week ---

either one of those might be appropriate.
