For Our Friends, A Roydale Care Package

Yesterday began pretty lousy. I was about 30 minutes into my shift at work and was trying to snap out of a bad mood before it took over my day. So I decided to give the Let's Get Out Of This Terrible Sandwich Shop CD a spin, and MAN was it the right choice. Silly. Fun. Ridiculously ridiculous.

Thank you, LGOOTTSS for making such a fun record! Thank you, BRW for putting it out, and sending it to me for free! Salut!

Brad,

You are a scholar and a gentleman, sir. I must confess to having previously purchased The Bitter Tears record, so the copy you so kindly shipped freely to me will be passed along to some less fortunate soul in need of an aural roundhouse kick to the face. Let's Get Out of This Terrible Sandwich Shop made me poop in my pants a little (This is a good sign.)

Thank you so much!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the chopsticks. I mean, who the hell sends out chopsticks? Salut, Ryan Carvin Rezvani, who has ordered maybe seventy-eight million chopsticks, at one point in time!

Confidential to Josef K. and others: Yes, you have missed the boat. I am sorry. However, you and others could visit iTunes, eMusic or Wtf.com and download some songs from these bands since they graciously supplied so many additional records at their expense to send to the EA freebie vampires. They get eighty-five cents on the dollar from the digitial distributor, and Roydale takes no cut of anything, so it's great! for the bands!

Confidential to internacionales: I apologize as I will not ship your records until tomorrow. So many customs forms! Sorry for lying!

People: If you can download The Bachelors Say by the Bitter Tears, do it. What a great bass line! Or is that a tuba?

Thank-you so much for the Roydale gift package, it arrived Tuesday and was a nice little surprise. The chopsticks made me chuckle, after I figured out what they were.

I was heading to Silver Lake that night and popped in “The Bitter Tears” first. It’s like I was sitting at the bar, staring at the mirror behind it, when all of a sudden I got sucked through the looking glass. The band playing on the other side of the mirror is of course, “The Bitter Tears.” Quirky, warpy, fun-time drinking tunes. I smiled all the way through.

On the way home was “The Missouri Compromise” - a perfect complement to those twisty mountain roads and beautiful scenery. It’s pretty, powerful and there’s a new surprise around each bend.

Then my week got super busy and I have not had a chance to check out the “Terrible Sandwich Shop” although, I don’t anticipate any upset stomach or indigestion.

Thanks again, for helping me maintain my vampire lifestyle, Mr. Boomin’ Boise Bradley.

PS. I’m very glad you received positive news regarding your employment a short time ago.
