Yeah, that's what he said on the radio. He mentioned how he was on the Marvin Gaye song on the remastered Who's Next.

I wonder if the rest of those sessions are available online or something

Yeah, it's a shame that their lyrics aren't laughably overwritten sentences with no discernible rhythm.

But as long as you're comfortable, it's cool.
