I love all the SKWM album art, except that of Firewater, which makes feel vaguely uncomfortable.
Also, Drive Like Jehu's album art generally makes me feel very uncomfortable, but in a good way I guess.

I know that it's supposed to be "psychedelic" but it looks like it was drawn by someone who had the word psychedelic described to them and understood the "crazy" part but didn't understand the "attractive" part, you know?

i really like this factrix album. the cover is such crap, though. i think the font is at least partially to blame. it's also unfortunate that the skeleton hand seems to have a wire holding it together. somehow that makes it a bit less menacing.

Several years ago, a good friend of mine was in the Bronx Museum for the Arts emerging artists program.
Naturally, she invited me to the exhibition that was the culmination of the program.
As I was walking around looking at the pieces, I saw one that was very familiar!
There it was! On the wall! So exciting to me, to see the album cover of the Silkworm at a wine and cheese type reception!
While I was looking at the painting, the artist came over to talk to me. He was very nice, and was surprised I had seen the picture before. Hiroshi Kimura! Your art is not crap! One day, I hope to have one of your fine artworks in my home!
I've seen that very same painting hanging on a wall... in Tim Midgett's living room. I was less surprised to see it there. I love that album cover.
