Now, stupidity has always been a source of laughs for comedians, and it is a very rare occurrence to find comedy where idiocy is not only present, but is presented with intelligence and grace. It sounds like an oxymoron, but to see such an idea realistically fleshed out, look no further than the fifth season of the Simpsons. Today, as exemplified by latter episodes and now culminating in the film, Homer is simply stupid, not intelligently dumb.

I watched it this morning online and was really, really glad I didn't spend the $9 to go see it in a theater.
I love the older episodes of the show but the past few seasons have really been a let down. This movie was a very watered down version of one of the newer episodes.
