Didn't say there was anything necessarily wrong with it. It's an ancient symbol that has been used in practically all cultures. It's just that the baggage it now carries because of the Nazis and WWII makes it seem to stick out when you come across it when it's been used as a decorative or religious symbol from an era before WWII. Nowadays it's very rare to come across it being used in a modern context as decoration or ornamenture due to this negative baggage.

You're thinking of Zum Deutschen Eck.

Wasn't there a Reader story about Zum Deutschen Eck years ago, that accused the owners of being Neo-Nazis or something? I seem to remember that, and it wasn't much longer before the place closed its doors.

Holy shit, when I saw this pic, I almost did a spit-take. That woman looks just like my ex-girlfriend. Except that she'd never be posing with a Nazi cake. She was half-Jewish and hated Nazis.
