Life Expectancy

86 but that thing lies.

All of my dead grand parents lived past 90 and smoked, drank and beat cancer. My one grandmother still living is now 84 and looks like she's 70 as well as never having smoked/drank. I bet mine would be better if I knew my cholesterol/blood pressure too but I don't offhand.

The Significance of the Flossing Question

Recent scientific evidence reveals that chronic gum disease leads to the release of inflammatory, toxic substances and certain bacteria into the bloodstream that potentiate plaque formation in arteries and ultimately lead to heart disease. This process probably also increases the risk of stroke and accelerated aging.

I've been consulting other web-based life expectancy calculators for second (and third, and fourth...) opinions. I have a low of 64 and a high of 75. I'm going to start flossing every day.

Couldn't hurt.
