stop being so precious - i think its quite obvious that the guy has a pretty dry sense of humour.

I can remember at one ATP he was selling Gallo t-shirts for something ridiculous like £75. If someone is willing to pay that much for a t-shirt then more fool them. Same with that TB500 - it's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it and i bet someone WILL dish out that much for one...

he's got plenty of opinions i don't jive with but he made me a really good offer for my bean (i refused). and he introduced me to Karen O, so me and Gallo, we are okay. and this guitar- he didn't have an amp so i didn't get to plug it in, but it was immaculate and set up perfectly.

I personally wouldn't pay that much for an electric guitar. Maybe a classical - but not an electric. Especially one that I would be using when I play out.
